New Hampshire through the seasons
What NH weather does to your home, all year long
New England weather keeps homes guessing. Here’s what Jeremy sees most in each season, and what you can do about it.
Spring
Snowmelt & wet basements
Melting snow and April rain raise groundwater fast. Basements take on water, sump pumps work overtime, and damp drywall and carpet start growing mold within days if they aren’t dried properly.
Summer
Humidity & musty basements
Humid air meets cool basement walls and condenses. Without a dehumidifier running, mold shows up on drywall, framing, stored boxes and the back of furniture.
Fall
Leaves, storms & roof leaks
Clogged gutters and heavy fall storms push water toward foundations and into attics. It’s the best time to clear gutters, check sump pumps and look for roof leaks before winter.
Winter
Frozen pipes & ice dams
Burst pipes, ice dams and attic condensation cause sudden water damage, especially in vacant homes and listings. Call or text Jeremy anytime. Drying it quickly is what keeps it from becoming mold.
How fast can Jeremy get there?
Usually the same day.
Often within about an hour in southern NH and the Merrimack Valley. Farther north takes a little longer, but you’ll always get a straight answer on timing before he heads out. For water emergencies, call or text anytime.
Not sure if we cover your town? Just ask.
Text your town and a photo of the problem. Jeremy will reply with timing and an honest first take.
How our service area works
One owner, all of New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley
Restoration NH is owner-run. When you call or text from any town on this page, you reach Jeremy, and Jeremy is the one who comes out. There's no call center and no crew he hands your job to.
How fast he gets there
Usually the same day. In southern NH and the Merrimack Valley, he's often on-site within about an hour. Farther north takes longer, and he'll tell you honestly when he can be there.
Water emergencies
Burst pipes, flooded basements and sewage backups can't wait. Call or text Jeremy anytime. While you wait, shut off the water if you can and stay clear of sagging ceilings.
Mold and inspections
Mold isn't usually an emergency. Text a photo or the inspection report, plus your closing date if you're mid-sale, and Jeremy will tell you what it needs and when he can come.
What to send
A photo or short video, the town, and what happened. Photos help Jeremy tell you right away if it's minor or needs a visit.
Same promises everywhere
A written scope and price before work starts, starting prices of $249 for mold and $499 for water, sellers can pay at closing, and a 3-year warranty that transfers if you sell.
Don't see your town?
If you're anywhere in New Hampshire or the Merrimack Valley, MA, Jeremy covers it. Call or text (603) 233-3009.
Agents and inspectors
Most of Jeremy's work comes from real estate agents and home inspectors. Send the report and the closing date, and he'll schedule around it with a written scope everyone can read.
Homes and businesses
Single-family homes, condos, multi-families, offices, restaurants and retail spaces. Commercial work is planned around your hours whenever possible.
Insurance help
Jeremy documents water jobs with photos and moisture readings and can join your call with the adjuster.
